In Isaiah 2:3, we read – “And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.” Notice, in this verse of Scripture, that the people of God are called to “go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob.” Learning is always a progressive climb. You are never meant to stay at the same level, but are intended to move on higher and higher up the “mountain” – leading to a greater knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.

In this verse of Scripture, you will also notice that God promised to teach His people of His ways. The result? Then they would walk in His paths. Teaching always precedes walking. If you want to see a people “walk in truth” (3 John 4), then teach them God’s Holy Word – that is, “all the counsel of God” (Acts 20:27).

Nowadays – sad to say – we have many who are “talking the talk” but not “walking the walk.” Is it because there is a desperate need for teachers in the Body of Christ? The problem today is not that there is a lack of teachers, but that there is a lack of Holy Spirit-called and led teachers who are rightly dividing the Word of Truth. Resultantly, many of God’s people do not know “the ways of the LORD” and, consequently, are not “walking in His paths.”

In 2001, God called me to teach His Word to His people across the globe via the Internet. I have faithfully done so with phenomenal results. Many believers across the world testify on a daily basis – saying that their lives are being totally and completely transformed and strengthened by the messages that He gives me.

Maybe you are one of them.

In Galatians 6:6, the Apostle Paul told the Galatian believers – “Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.” Other versions say it this way – “Those who are taught the Word of God should help their teachers by paying them” (The Living Bible). “People under instruction should always contribute something to the support of the man (or woman) who is instructing them” (Jerusalem Bible). “The man under Christian instruction should be willing to share the good things of life with his teacher” (Phillips Modern English).
