This morning I received an e-mail from someone whose list I am on. The e-mail happened to include one of my messages that I wrote way back in 2003. As I looked at the title and started reading it, I knew immediately that I was the one who wrote it. Of course, you would not have known it for my name was no where to be seen and most of the message was cut out or altered.

I would like to bring to your attention all of the info that trails each of my messages. Please take note of what is included for it is very, very important. With every message, I include a copyright, my full name. my full address, URL, and personal info. I do not include this info just to take up space. It is all there for a reason.

One of the most important items is the copyright. Now, I must say - some will argue that they do not agree with a copyright on "God's material" except when it comes to Big-Named preachers such as Joyce Meyer, John Hagee, Benny Hinn, Juanita Bynum, the Copelands, etc. I never see their material passed along without their name included and their copyright. I have yet to see their material chopped up and then sent out over the Internet.

Well, I count myself just as important in God's eyes as the above. I receive my messages from the same God as they do.

I have a definite purpose for why I include a copyright with each message. My messages cannot be tampered with in any way, shape, or fashion. What I send out - must be forwarded exactly as sent out.

I don't mean to sound harsh here - but if you have a problem with that - then simply do not forward my material.

Honestly, it takes so much time to cut away at my words than to just send it out as is. How is it that some feel that they have to revise what God gave me?

Alot of hard work goes into writing these messages and then sending them out. I do not have a secretary or an editor. I am it.

Besides, violating someone's copyright is a crime and a sin in God's sight.

Whether you agree with me or not, this sin of stealing another's work will keep you out of heaven just as any other sin.

Please - let's be more sensitive to others. We live in a society where people want everything for nothing. But that attitude should not be in the Body of Christ.

Let's appreciate the gifts, talents, and anointings on other's lives. Let's be respectful, kind, considerate, loving, and appreciative.

The Golden Rule is still in effect - Do unto others as you would have them do to you.

How would you feel this morning if you knew that you worked so hard on a project only to have someone cut away at it, change it, delete your name from it, take the credit for it, and even make money off of it? This has happened to many Christian writers in the past - including myself.

Must I say any more to people who are supposedly living under the Grace of God - that distinguishes us from the world's standards and ways?

Thanks for allowing me to vent here.

God bless y'all as we all seek to please our Lord and Master - even in the small things.

Have a GLORIOUS DAY in Jesus.
Connie

P.S. Some of you sent me e-mails with questions and prayer requests. To be honest with you, I have not been able to answer any of my mail because my family and I have been going through much troubles - some serious car troubles, that is. I have been much in prayer about that situation and have been away from the computer alot of the time. However, I want to assure you that I lift up every request that you send me. As for your questions, I know that the Lord Jesus will answer them all. Just hold on - He will be sure to give you the answer that you are desperately seeking at this time. He is a Faithful God! It is not that I do not want to answer you - it is just that, oftentimes, it is impossible for me to do so - in the time that I have available.

Every one of you is special in God's eyes. Your needs are very important to God. Even though I may not be able to address them, please do not think that God is turning you away. Give Him a chance to work. Oftentimes, the answer does not come immediately. But I can assure you - through experience - that it will come - and many times in ways that you never imagined.

We serve an Awesome God. If you haven't done so already this day - why not take some time out of your busy schedule and just tell Him how much He means to you? Who knows - while you are praising Him - He may just whisper the answer that you have been longing for.
