When God Gives An Open Salvation
"Several of the versions
read, 'I will give him an open salvation.' My work shall be
manifest." - Adam Clarke
Who is eligible for
"an open salvation" - referred to by Adam Clarke?
Those who are -
...surrounded by their adversaries which have sufficient numbers
and powers
...facing the cruel designs of their enemy
...oppressed by their own poverty or lack of resources and
abused by other's mocking words
...in humble circumstances - wronged by the deceitful statements
and false promises of others
...looked upon with contempt and considered as insignificant and
worthless by others
...encountering all kinds of troubles, trials, temptations,
evils, and dangers.
They are the ones who -
...are groaning - secretly grieving over their disastrous
situations and pouring out their souls in continuous sighs
before the Throne of Grace
...have fixed their love upon Jesus - whose hearts are enamored
with Him...intensely attached to him...all taken up with Him
...honor and serve Him...give Him the worship due His
name...understand His true character and attributes... trust in
Him with an undoubting confidence
"For the oppression
of the poor, for the sighing of the needy..."(Psalm
12:5)
Does that describe you at this
present time?
Are you oppressed and
constantly sighing and crying under the heavy weight of it all?
Yet you love Jesus with
all your heart and desire to give Him His rightful place as Lord
of all and Lord over all in your life and home.
Be encouraged today!
God promises you "an open salvation"
if you will only hold onto His Mighty Promises.
In fact, this is what He will do for you if you will not grow
weary in well-doing or faint, but simply believe -
Psalm 59:1 says -
"Deliver me from mine enemies,
O my God: defend me from them that rise up against me."
Psalm 12:5 says -
"For the oppression of the poor,
for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith
the LORD; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth
at him."
Psalm 91:14 says -
"Because he hath set his love upon
Me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him
on high, because he hath known My name.'
Isaiah 33:16 adds -
"He shall dwell on high:
his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks:
bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure."
In other words, He will -
...be an all-sufficient God to you
...place you out of the reach of your adversaries whereby they
will not be able to harm or frighten you
...preserve you from troubles of every sort insomuch that you
will feel safe, easy, and satisfied
...set you above fear and danger so that you will dwell in peace
and joy
...vindicate and save you from the evil designs of all those who
hate you
...deliver you from sin, danger, and trials of every kind
...keep you safe by His divine power
...supply all your needs so much so that you will lack nothing.
O Reader, do you need "an open
salvation" today - one where the Lord Jesus manifests His Mighty
Power for all to see?
Simply focus all of your love, attention, and affection on Him.
Strive with all of your heart, soul, mind, and strength to know
Him - His character, attributes, and ways. Serve Him with
gladness and great joy in the place where He has
"planted" you at this time.
And be sure to lay down all your heavy burdens at His feet.
Let these words from Moses to the Children of Israel be a
prophecy for you this day -
"And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and
see the salvation of the LORD, which He will show to you today:
for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them
again no more for ever. The LORD shall fight for you, and ye
shall hold your peace"(Exodus 14:13-14).
Get ready for "an open
salvation."
Meet the conditions and you
will surely be able to say to your enemies - "I will see you
again no more for ever."
Remember God said - "Now will
I arise..."
"...I will set him in safety
from him that puffeth at him."
"...I will set him on high..."
He will do it!
He is Forever
Faithful!
May God Bless His Word.
